Healing Calendula Salve

Healing Calendula Salve

Calendula Salve works wonders on chapped skin, rashes, burns, bug bites, cuts and more. I love to use it as a natural alternative for pretty much any ailment of the skin.

Calendula is a sunny, soothing, anti-inflammatory that is easy to grow and oh so versatile. I love to use the fresh flowers in salads, and their bright buds are a lovely addition to herbal tea blends.

At this gathering we will make up a batch of salve made with home grown healing herbs: calendula, comfrey, and maybe a bit of plantain. We will learn a bit about these healing plants, and then cook up a batch of salve! I will provide all ingredients for the salve as well as a recipe for you to make your next batch!

This event will be held at my tiny home + garden in Vancouver WA. Suggested donation $15-$20

All participants will participate in making the calendula salve and will go home with a jar of salve!
